The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and responded to our needs promptly, making our stay pleasant. However, a few improvements could enhance the guest experience: the room did not include soap or shampoo, only a small bottle of hand wash; there was also no drinking water or glasses provided in the room. Since we were traveling with a one‑year‑old child and the local water tasted muddy, complimentary bottled water would have been appreciated. Additionally, the property indicated that food could be ordered, but we were told upon arrival that orders needed to be placed in advance; this information should be clearly stated in the description.

The location / view is great. Booking was made for a Deluxe Double bed with sea view and balcony. However, only a double bed was offered in the price charged. Initially, a booking cancellation was requested but that was declined which was very rude as the cancellation request was made within 15 minutes of the booking. And this was due to location preference. At the time of check out, I was asked to pay 12000 Sri Lankan rupees (36 USD approx) while the bookingCom fee was 28.35 USD (9000 Sri Lanka rupees approx). The owner blamed and a request for invoice was denied

The beachside location is fantastic, offering incredible sunset views and the soothing sound of waves while you sleep; the pool is nice and the staff are amazing.

The pool is right by the sea, the dinner is homemade, and the room’s air conditioning is good. However, the dinner for two people cost 20 €, including rice, lentil dal, cucumber tomato onion salad, and chips, while breakfast (which includes one mango, half a papaya, and half a watermelon) was 10 €. At checkout, the lady tried to collect additional money—an absolute rudeness.
