The resort’s location, ideal for those who value silence and nature, is fantastic.
“Da rifare”
The restaurant staff were out‑of‑this‑world, super friendly and always willing to help. Nothing else to add.
Great location for discovering the Etruscan world, very pleasant pools, excellent cuisine. The lighting could be better.
“Una settimana meravigliosa che porteremo nel cuore.”
We, my partner and our little Drusilla, spent a wonderful week at Fonte Vulci Resort, surrounded by nature and the calm of the Maremma. The highlight was having our own private thermal pool, a real haven of peace and wellness, in addition to the beautiful communal thermal pools the hotel offers. It was fantastic to unwind completely, especially traveling with a small child, always feeling comfortable and pampered. Another great find was the kitchen: we ate really well, savoring Etruscan‑Maremma traditional dishes and local products, prepared and presented superbly. You can feel the care, the quality of the ingredients and the desire to tell this land through its flavors. We also loved the daily cleaning and the constant attention given to guests. But what we’ll remember most is the welcome. A heartfelt thanks to the whole staff: you made us feel at home, cared for, served, and respected from the first to the last day, always with kindness, availability and great professionalism. We left feeling truly refreshed and with beautiful memories of this week spent together with our little Drusilla. ❤️ We will definitely come back, because there are beautiful places and then there are places you want to return to. Fonte Vulci is one of those for us. We’ll gladly recommend it and tell all our friends and acquaintances. Thank you from the heart for this splendid week. See you soon! 🌿♨️❤️
“Mai così male.”
The concept of a pool right in front of the rooms is charming and the local cuisine isn’t bad, though it’s priced absurdly; the pool area was constantly under maintenance, supposedly done at night but actually happening in the morning, delaying access until after noon and flooding the rooms with vaporetto noise from early dawn, while the poolside bar never seemed to open and a swarm of wasps and flies provided no relief. Our room arrived with several burnt‑out bulbs, which, given the property has fewer than ten rooms, suggested poor upkeep; twice in a week we had to clean the rooms ourselves because housekeeping didn’t return, the TV only offered standard channels with a poor picture, Wi‑Fi had signal but almost no bandwidth, the air‑conditioner blew a cold draft regardless of settings, the shower was clogged with lime to the point of dripping, the room was covered in cobwebs, and the included breakfast was barely acceptable—just one croissant per person, low‑quality pastries often dry, burnt coffee, wilted fruit, and warm juices that seemed left in the sun.
