The family was very friendly, not fluent in English but we were happy to use Google Translate. Any problem I had, they helped me. I really enjoyed watching them make homemade “lutenica” and “ajvar” 😊 They even let me stay long‑term for a reduced rate, and as someone choosing to stay in Ohrid (one of my favourite places in Europe), I couldn’t imagine a better, more friendly, more comfortable place to spend my time. Shops across the street for everything you could need, and just a 15‑minute walk to the lakeside or downtown. I’m very grateful for the chance to stay in this lovely accommodation ❤️
