Beautiful and comfortable lodging, just a 2‑minute walk from the main street and 10 minutes to the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything—arranging airport transfers, organizing tours, recommending restaurants, etc. Breakfast is excellent and homemade, with some variety each day. If you want accommodation slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the main street yet still close enough to everything, this is the perfect place. An unforgettable stay in Santa Maria: authenticity, care and great hospitality! Before booking, ask yourself if you want to experience Cape Verde with your heart; if yes, this B&B is perfect. The owner is simply fantastic and delightful: his availability is unparalleled, always ready to give valuable tips, local gems and useful info to enjoy the island in total peace. The property sits just behind the main pedestrian street of Santa Maria and a few steps from the sea. The real added value is the neighborhood’s atmosphere: pure, overwhelming authenticity. You live close to the locals, immersed in their traditions, smiles and everyday colors. A genuine experience far from the usual tourist circuits. The B&B is beautiful and the owners’ imprint is obvious: they’re avid travelers, so every detail is crafted with care, taste and attention to guests. You feel welcomed and at home from the first moment. Extra credit for the breakfast: fantastic! Every morning they offered something different, fresh, varied and always delicious. A perfect wake‑up before exploring the island. In short: an exceptional stay in every way. “Excelente anfitrião e ótima estadia”

We really liked our stay. The host was super friendly, available and helpful, gave us great tips and assisted with everything we needed. We booked the island tour through his contacts and enjoyed it. Breakfast was always very good with homemade cakes every day, and they bought plant milk for me on purpose. On the weekend there was some noise, and because the room has no air conditioning we felt quite hot. However, we were aware of these conditions at the time of booking and there was a fan in the room. Justifiable value‑for‑money. Overall, it was a very positive experience!

The owners are very helpful. They arrange taxis, the breakfast was good, and they gave excellent tips about the area and fun spots. The location of the accommodation is good, between the locals. On Friday and Saturday nights, loud music on the street lasted until deep into the night.

The hotel sits close to the city center and the beach, in a quiet neighborhood with many local bars and supermarkets nearby. Laurent is charming and very helpful, offering plenty of recommendations. However, there was no shampoo or body wash provided, and the towels were not changed during the four nights.
