The building in the heart of town is old but tastefully renovated. Our room (4) was clean, the bed extremely comfortable, and the shower in the bathroom was superb. The lady Carolina welcomed us with great kindness and professionalism. In short, our Cammino del Salento could not have started better.

The place looked good and had an excellent location. However, the air was stale due to poor natural ventilation. The windows were too small to allow enough airflow for a healthy environment. I would suggest installing forced air to improve indoor comfort.

The hotel is in the historic center and the room is very nice. We were not given any explanation before arrival about the entry code or how to find a parking spot, so we had to call, but the noise from the restaurant terrace made it hard to understand; fortunately someone came to open the door for us. There is no parking nearby, so you need to know that in advance. Park in an outdoor parking in the historic center before looking for the accommodation.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great. The decor was really nice. The place had a very bad mouldy smell. The room easily got stuffy and mould was growing in several places. The sheets also had a sour smell like they had been left too long in the washer. The floors weren’t vacuumed. Breakfast was extremely disappointing with store‑bought croissants.
