Everything was absolutely perfect: the stunning location, the thoughtfully designed shepherd’s hut, the lovely little pond to swim in, the dog‑friendly environment, and the wonderful host made for a very tranquil and relaxing stay.

The shepherd's hut was tucked away in the trees, making it the perfect spot to unwind and connect with nature. I loved that the site was intimate and didn't feel overcrowded, which added to its charm. Swimming in the pond was a highlight for me, and if it had been chilly, I would have definitely given the pond-side sauna a go.

The owner was super welcoming, and the retreat was just what we needed - a chance to chill out. The pond was a great touch, and we enjoyed swimming in it. It was one of those weekends where you just want to do nothing, and that was exactly what we did. We ended up staying an extra night because it was so relaxing, and it got even quieter when most of the other guests left.

I loved the cozy feel of the place - it was small and friendly, just right for a relaxing break. Swimming in the pond was a treat, and we were lucky enough to spot some Barn Owls, which was amazing. The hut itself was adorable, and everything felt really peaceful.
