The family running the place is really friendly and can recommend activities in the area; breakfast is excellent and pizza is affordable; the location is convenient, the bed is large and comfortable, the Wi‑Fi works well, and the bathroom is adequate, though there is no hot shower as noted in the description. A large hotel next door plays reggaeton from 10 am to 11 pm, which didn’t bother me much after a few days of staying a week, and the owner warned me about it beforehand; I’ve heard that the whole city is noisy, so I won’t hold this particular spot against it.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Ecuador so far, and the owners are very nice.

Breakfast was good and served from 8 am, but the common areas have a strong dog smell from many dogs on the property and the room was very dusty; the rooms are loud at night because of a nearby club, with music until 2 am that the staff never mentioned, and there was no hot water.
