It is located in the Old Town. The hotel is old and the room is small, giving me the feeling I was in India. The breakfast was poor.

“Total dezamăgitor!”

The hotel’s spot was fairly close to the attractions, but the accommodation fell short – the rooms lacked a wardrobe, a table or even a chair, the furniture was old, and the fridge in the children’s room was completely unsanitary. The lift had no inner door, so you could see the shaft walls while it moved. Breakfast on the first morning was not very varied and started after 8 am (we had been told it ran from 8:00 to 10:00, so it didn’t bother us). We asked to change the kids’ room but, after seeing the grime on the walls of the offered replacement, we kept the original. We were placed on the 5th floor and, since the hotel was empty, we requested a lower floor but were refused because a larger group was due to arrive, which indeed happened. The next day the breakfast spread was much richer and served earlier, but on our final morning it reverted to a meager offering, served very late and with leftover sliced bread from the previous day. The photos online are extremely old and don’t match reality. No cleaning was done in the room and towels weren’t changed. The toilet paper holder was under the sink, the toilet seat was in the shower cabin.

The hotel is in an amazing location, right in the center of Istanbul, with bazaars all around. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are only about a 5-minute walk away, and there is also a tram station nearby that can take you basically anywhere around the city. The hotel staff were amazing, especially the owner, who was extremely kind and helpful. We would also like to mention the lovely older gentleman at the reception, who was always very friendly and welcoming. We had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay! As a group of four girls traveling together, we felt very safe, comfortable, and relaxed throughout our entire stay. The area around the hotel also felt very safe, even when walking around, which was really important to us. We were very satisfied with the accommodation. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. The room was clean, organized, and comfortable, and the hotel’s location was excellent. Everything went smoothly during our stay, we felt very comfortable, so we confidently recommend it to others. We didn’t experience any significant problems and were satisfied with everything.

The location and hospitality were great, everything was fine. The only downside was that the room smelled like cats.
