The staff were friendly and kept the place clean, and they tried hard to help us despite limited English. The beds were very uncomfortable, the pool had not been cleaned for a while and was unusable, and the beach was not within walking distance. The two men running the property worked hard on breakfast, but the food was poorly cooked.

This place feels like a small oasis away from Mirissa’s main buzz yet still within walking distance of the town’s beaches. The garden is beautiful and relaxing, the pool is small, the rooms are spacious with everything you need, and the staff are fantastic. Everyone was super friendly, especially the owner, nicknamed the captain, who was helpful, organized, generous, and arranged our whale‑watching trip with Eagle Eye. He gave great local advice and even invited us to his home to celebrate New Year’s with his family. Thanks again, Captain, for an unforgettable experience!

The location is quiet, the room is large with a sitting area, and the TukTuk can park in the courtyard. The breakfast is a bit sparse compared to other accommodations.

From the moment we were received, the staff immediately helped us with our luggage. They were very friendly and assisted with everything, giving us advice and arranging outings like whale watching and transportation at a fair price. On the last day they prepared a custom breakfast just for us. The hotel is well maintained and cleaned daily. The view behind the hotel is great for sunset. It’s easier to get to Mirissa center and the beach by TukTuk. The price might be a little high, but it’s definitely worth the money. Thank you, Nibanna Hotel, and highly recommended.
