The staff at the reception and the night guard were good. But the overall condition of the building, with renovation work, is an issue, especially for such a monument. The breakfast staff may be too busy to always be friendly; maybe add someone so the lady who points us to a table doesn't have to clear, because then there's a long line for a table. Also parking is expensive for guests.

Location was fine. Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. The staff were unkind to us, while seeming much friendlier to guests arriving in luxury cars and wearing expensive clothes. The view from our room was poor, and the bathtub was unusable because the plug was missing. The staff also seemed understaffed and underpaid, which may have affected the service. There was very little flexibility to accommodate simple requests, such as arranging the beds separately. Overall, the service and facilities did not meet our expectations.

The staff were friendly. We ate excellently at the restaurant and the breakfast was very good. The cava bottle was a bit pricey for what it was.
