Everything about this property was great—the location, cleanliness, and the service from hosts Lisa and Kieran were just brilliant. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Lisa and Keiran are simply the loveliest hosts I've ever met; they’re generous, welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable, and just delightful. Their guest house feels warm, comfortable, and steeped in history. The breakfasts are amazing, and the complimentary port and sweets in the sitting room are a real treat. I’d recommend this place to everyone and would return in a heartbeat.

The property was a charming historic house with a very spacious room that had two easy chairs. There was also a veranda with two chairs, perfect when the weather is nice. The location was very close to the centre, so many eateries were within easy walking distance. The breakfast buffet was generous, offering lovely fruit and a cooked selection that changed daily. Cake was provided each afternoon, and there was a spacious lounge to sit in as well. Nothing was lacking.

The hosts Lisa and Keiran were fantastic, making the old building feel quiet and calm with thoughtful décor and interesting collectibles; Keiran's breakfasts were exceptional, offering a delicious buffet of local produce and a variety of cooked options that kept us fueled for our daily walks, and there were absolutely no negatives.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town centre, the rooms were comfortable, and breakfast was included with plenty of choices each day, with nothing negative to mention.
