It’s close to the railway station, but we couldn’t sleep because downstairs hosted a nightclub that blasted loud music all night.

VIVA Hostel sits ten minutes’ walk from Chur’s train station, in the city centre’s vibrant nightlife district. It offers two bars, a dance club, and free public Wi‑Fi. Spacious rooms feature private or shared bathrooms, while dorms provide communal facilities. Nearby are restaurants, bars, shops, a bowling alley, and the Stadthalle bus stop, just 50 m away.

It’s cheap, but the noise from the street is terrible.

The location is fine, a short walk from the train station and city centre, yet the value for money is disastrous: almost 80.- for two people (two beds) in a large dormitory with bunk beds, only toilets and showers provided, no toiletries, no soap, a non‑working hair dryer, no bedside lamps—just one overhead light for the whole room, no curtains on the many windows overlooking a noisy street, torn bedding, no storage space. The hostel itself isn’t terrible, but at a fair price half that amount would be acceptable, or at 40.- per night breakfast should be included. In short, it lacks equipment and doesn’t justify the price paid for a dorm bed.

The facilities are very nice and the check‑in instructions were clear, but the sheets had holes, which seems like a huge oversight; at least a kettle for water would help.

Todo estuvo de 10 el personal la ubicación, la limpieza, etc. Me pareció que deberían tener una cocina para poder preparar un mate o café
