“Come to Fergana”

The spot was spot-on, everything within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants on both sides and in the center. The staff did a great job and spoke fluent English, which was a big help in this part of Uzbekistan where tourists are scarce. The hotel’s amenities were solid, though a bar fridge in the rooms would have been a nice addition. Breakfast satisfied me without leaving me hungry. The two receptionists were a real asset, offering plenty of assistance and local knowledge. The lack of a bar fridge meant I couldn’t grab a cold drink, especially in this hot climate.

The main advantage of the hotel is its location—right in the city center with many shops and eateries nearby, everything literally at hand. The staff strives to maintain service quality: at reception, Saidabror was polite and ready to help, while the kitchen staff kindly showed how to use the capsule coffee machine, creating a pleasant first impression. The rooms are generally clean, but details feel unfinished. The shower lacks basic items like shower gel, and the siphon under the sink appears partially clogged, causing slow drainage and discomfort. Breakfast had a very limited selection, likely due to low occupancy, but as a guest I judge the final result, not the reasons. Especially since a day earlier I stayed at a hotel in a neighboring city (Namangan) for about 20% less, where the breakfast quality was noticeably higher—a difference that’s too stark to ignore.

The location, breakfast, and staff were good. However, the bed linens and towels were not white but faded gray and excessively wrinkled, giving the impression they were deliberately crumpled.

The hotel’s location is nice, with a beautiful park nearby for walks. The breakfast was very sparse, coffee was missing, and the coffee machine didn’t work, which was disappointing; at least there’s a nearby Magnolia café that serves tasty hot coffee.

“Very polite staff, clean and comfortable room”

The receptionist was very polite and attentive, always resolving issues within seconds. The room was clean—small but comfortable. The only drawback was an occasional unpleasant odor from the bathroom drain, a common problem across Uzbekistan, not unique to this hotel.
