“Staff were very pleasant but the room unpleasant.”
The breakfast was decent, the bed was comfy, and the spot was convenient for us. However, the bedroom felt too dark and cramped for what we paid; the bathroom was absurdly small, almost like a cupboard, making showering and drying a challenge, and the toilet felt claustrophobic with the towel hanging just above knee height. The window had to stay shut or it would knock you out when you stood up, and the toilet roll was awkwardly positioned. The bathroom door was so close to the desk and chair that my wife had to keep pausing to let me in or out, which was annoying. The parking was a nightmare—though we had a space for the weekend, it disappeared when we returned, leaving only the EV and disabled spots. The staff let us use the EV spot, but once all spaces were paid for, Ibis should stop accepting more payments. Numbered spaces per floor would help.
