I was staying in the city centre, close to the beach, which is small but nearby – don’t expect a big stretch. The host was friendly and the room had a fridge and a coffee machine. In the first five minutes the shower drain clogged and the pump was loud; worse, the dirty sheet fell on my back, so I had to buy a new pajama. The pillows were so old they had to be thrown out, and the bed was the same as before.

The place was very friendly, clean, and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great against the summer heat. It was close to the city centre and the main attractions, and the quietness let me sleep soundly.

The owner was very friendly and focused on customer service. The location was in the city centre and the Wi‑Fi was good. Beach gear like parasols and games was available. However, the photos of the flat with a balcony were misleading – the room actually has no balcony. There was a lot of noise and no soundproofing, and the room was poorly furnished – no table and only one chair for the two of us.

The proximity to the beaches and the city centre of Alghero was great.

The place was clean, the host was helpful, and the location was good. The downside was that we didn’t have a balcony; only one room had one, while the other three did not. Also, kitchen sounds were audible from the rooms.
