The staff were amazing, always helpful in any way. The hotel is quite central, very near the train station and the historical centre (bazaar, etc.) and the sea. It seems like a confusing area but we found it very safe in the end. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, more salty than sweet, kind of Turkish style. The room smelled of smoke; we opened the small balcony window and by the end it was fine.

I stayed one night in a single room at this hotel. The room was so small that it felt like it was just made to fill the remaining space on the floor. It was old, with exposed wires in the bathroom. Cleaning was 4/5, but the top of the fridge hadn’t been wiped for a long time. The bathroom had a cigarette smell, even though it’s prohibited and fined. After check‑in (around 6 pm) the electricity went out, so there was no way to charge devices, to light up, or to call the reception from the landline. Electricity returned in the evening, but the toilet wouldn’t flush. I tried to call reception but couldn’t find the number, so the issue wasn’t resolved before departure. Breakfast was scheduled from 8:00 to 10:30, but by 10 am almost nothing was left. Overall, the food selection was limited. Positives were the location, 5 minutes from the metro, and the price, but I would not stay here again.
