We had a great stay here; the island’s atmosphere is very relaxing and we felt at home. Our host Baky was very kind, offered many suggestions, and helped arrange all the logistics. If you plan to visit the island, you should definitely consider OBAI Nubian Guest House.
“Best place for a Family trip”
Perfect location, great rooms, and host Ziggy. Everything you need is available and everything is clean! I love the homemade breakfast. Because it’s new, the terrace is under construction; once finished it will offer a very pleasant view overlooking the Nile.
The hotel is brand new, spotless, and just a few meters from the ferry. When I had to leave early for a trip to Abu Simbel, an employee was up at 4 am to hand me a breakfast box for the tour, which was very thoughtful and kind. Communication with Ahmet was excellent, and I was satisfied with my stay.
Very beautiful, quiet, perfect location right at the ferry dock, so you can reach Aswan downtown quickly while still enjoying the island’s tranquility. The ferry runs from 6 am to midnight, which is really ideal. The rooftop terrace was lovely, the rooms were very clean, and the staff were very friendly.
