“No repetiría, no está bien explicado.”
The building’s reception area is very pretty, old and full of character. The apartment we stayed in was a metal and glass box, with an uncomfortable spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, a fairly average bed, and overall very basic—nothing like the promotional photos on Booking. Booking that place was a mistake.
“Fatal”
The surroundings were nice. The reality was far from it; I had to buy disinfectant to clean the bathroom and tables, there was dirt under the armchair, and it smelled damp.
The small park was nice. The apartment itself was a mess: it smelled old (they tried to mask it with a diffuser), the bed leaned to one side, and especially under a flight path where planes take off and land from 6 am to 10 pm.
I loved staying here, it was just what I needed. As a first‑time visitor to La Coruña, getting around by public transport would have been difficult; a taxi was a great option.
The room lacked a desk.
