This property is absolutely stunning, unique, and special. We finished our honeymoon here, and it was the perfect way to wrap it up. The house and views are breathtakingly beautiful. The room was spotless, and the pool area is outstanding. Breakfast was generous and delightful, and everyone in the family was warm and welcoming. We felt truly cared for and would love to return.

Dear Safron House Team, we can’t even begin to thank you for these fantastic four days. We first stayed here 10 years ago for our wedding, and now we returned to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The world and Hiriketiya have changed completely, but Safron House remains unchanged. The house, the ambiance, the atmosphere—everything is just as special as it was back then, and it’s even more beautiful now. The breakfasts were outstanding, featuring a different Sri Lankan specialty each day, and the dinners prepared just for us by Chris were the best local food we’ve had anywhere in Sri Lanka. The service quality stays exceptionally high. Chris, together with her daughters, still runs Safron House with warmth, joy, and passion. We could write pages about everything we loved, but to keep it short: ten years ago it was wonderful, and unlike many places, it hasn’t deteriorated even a millimeter; it’s become even more beautiful and better. A true oasis of peace and outstanding quality in what’s now a lively Hiriketiya. Anyone seeking tranquility, genuine hospitality, and top quality should book Safron House. Thank you for these unforgettable days; we’ll definitely come back—not in another ten years, but as soon as possible. It’s the best hotel experience we’ve ever had in Sri Lanka. With heartfelt thanks! The only downside: we didn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the infinity pool was a real highlight. The location was perfect—close enough to easily walk everywhere. The family who runs the hotel were incredibly warm, friendly, and always happy to help. Their delicious local breakfasts each morning were a fantastic way to start the day. We would happily stay here again
