The welcome and Denis’s friendliness were great, the accommodation was very pleasant with perfect bedding, the setting and location were quiet, the breakfast was good, and the value for money was excellent. Nothing negative.

The room was clean, practical, lovingly furnished, and had a comfortable bed; Denis took excellent care of our stay, everything worked perfectly, the bicycles were safely stored in the garage, and the dinner at the nearby restaurant arranged by Denis was very good.

The place sits beautifully on a hill at the edge of a picturesque old village; the peace and seclusion were very soothing. A simple breakfast is available, but you have to set it up yourself, which is a bit inconvenient because there is no kitchen or large table, yet it works. You can have breakfast outdoors in front of the room with a nice view. The host was responsive and helpful, which was necessary since the exact location of the property wasn’t found by our GPS. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked flawlessly. There is no air conditioning, but the open window let in fresh air even in midsummer. The room is quite small, but it was an interesting night for a single stay.
