On Saturday morning, 10.10.2026, the heating and hot water failed; repairs didn’t finish until after noon. The hotel feels run-down, curtains were slightly dirty and damaged, breakfast was minimally equipped, and the portioner for seeds/honeypops was broken—only honeypops were available, no oatmeal. It’s clear the place is run by young Indians with no background in gastronomy or hotel management; communication was difficult because these people only have rudimentary German.

The location was great, but the breakfast was disappointing, the heating was cold on the first day, and there were holes in the bed sheets.

The hotel was large and beautiful, the price‑to‑value ratio was top, the steakhouse restaurant in the hotel was excellent, and pets were allowed.

“Das Hotel in der wunderschöne Lage, alt aber sauber.”

The surroundings were very nice and the food at the restaurant was tasty, and there was a parking spot in front of the door. However, I booked two single rooms: a single room with a balcony was fine, but I couldn't find what made the other one a deluxe single. In that room the bed was directly under the wooden staircase to the third floor, so I could hear every stair step at night. For breakfast, a tomato‑mozzarella salad was offered without olive oil or balsamic over basil—no mention of that—and the sausages were good but would have been better with mustard. I was also surprised that guests had to clear their own tables.
