The hotel’s proximity to the SECC fairgrounds was great, but the place feels a bit dated and the staff—except at check‑in—struggle with English.

Breakfast was good, offering soup noodles and a Western‑style spread that suited a Chinese palate, and the staff were very enthusiastic, often bringing the food to you and clearing the dishes themselves. The hotel is a stone’s throw from Ho Chi Minh’s SECC, just a short walk away, which is a major plus, and right at the entrance there’s a BIDV ATM for easy cash withdrawals. The neighborhood has plenty of eateries, though it’s not as bustling as some areas. The only drawback was that in the room on the 8th floor you could hear the water pipes when it rained.

“The room itself was very nice, but the overall experience was not what we had expected.”

The room was spacious with large windows, but a construction site is visible from our view, and the restaurants didn’t live up to their claims—especially the rooftop bar, which was gone.
