The room was spotless and great, and Monique in the breakfast area was almost TOO cheerful before I even had my first sip of coffee—no complaints there. However, being unable to safely cross the 4‑lane street to eat at Hector's, which is less than a block away, is ridiculous! We had to return to the car after a 6‑hour drive when walking would have been far better. This is a city failure.

The location was perfect, and the pool and gym were great. When we first arrived early, the man at the front desk wouldn’t let us check in; he was very rude and standoffish. That forced us to go to a truck stop just to shower. We returned a few hours later, and the lady there offered me a membership so I could check in early, which was much appreciated after the long drive and wait.
