I liked the layout of the property. The room was spacious and had a wonderful ocean view of the Atlantic. There was a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, and TV. The shower was large and spacious. The hotel was walkable to lots of bars and restaurants as well as the beach. The room could have been cleaner; a dead fly was on the bathroom floor even after housekeeping refreshed the linens.

To the Sugar Bay team, thank you for making my stay a pleasant one. I truly enjoyed my time at your hotel in Saint Kitts. The only thing I wished for was that my room could have been a little closer, as the distance from the main areas was quite a walk for me. Other than that, my room was clean, neat, fresh, and smelled wonderful. I was also very impressed with the receptionist at the front desk. I unfortunately don’t remember her name, but she was professional, understanding, friendly, and extremely helpful with communication. She is definitely a top-tier receptionist and deserves recognition for the way she treated guests. One thing I would mention for future guests is the pricing . The initial price shown does not always include all the taxes and fees, so if you are traveling on a strict budget, keep in mind that the final amount at check-in may be a little higher. Overall, I had a great experience. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but everything was still clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't experience any loud noise or major disturbance from the work. If I return to Saint Kitts with my family, I would definitely stay at Sugar Bay Hotel again. Great location, we rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with kitchen, dining and living space. The lobby area was under construction.

The spot works well because you can walk everywhere you need to go; it’s a bit old but still good for budget travelers, almost like a three‑star quality inn, and I think they’re renovating the property.

Being in the center meant everything—shops, restaurants, all—was within reach, but the only downside was that breakfast, lunch, and dinner weren’t included; still, there are plenty of nearby food stops, and the strongest issue was the seaweed smell that lingered faintly in the rooms.
