The location was great, staff were nice and helpful, and the facilities were solid. The breakfast was excellent, but adding eggs to the buffet would be a convenient touch.

Located in the centre of Samedan, Hotel Donatz is 200 metres from the Train Station. This hotel features a restaurant, La Padella, serving Swiss and international dishes, and a traditionally furnished Jenatschstube. Elegant rooms are decorated in Alpine style with modern wooden furniture made from local Zirben trees, flat-screen satellite TVs, and bathrooms with hairdryers.

The room was comfy and relaxing, the breakfast was good, and there was nothing to complain about.

Everything worked very well. The service was truly flexible and friendly, and the food was excellent! The chocolate‑mat caused some mild respiratory symptoms.

It was pretty, modern, and still authentic. The only issue was my pillow ;-) but I'm a special case.
