The location and price were solid, and there were plenty of showers, but the room stayed hot even with the air‑con supposedly on—staff didn’t seem to turn it, and a fan could be purchased if needed. The onsen didn’t allow tattoos, and the other pods were easy to reach but filled with loud guests late at night.

The accommodation sits in a great spot, the rooms are spacious, and the manga wardrobe is a nice touch; the gym and lobby are also impressive, and the welcome cocktail is a highlight. However, a small curtain or light blocker over the doors would help block the hallway glare that makes it hard to sleep.

Breakfast was excellent, featuring a buffet with a wide selection that included both continental and Japanese options, and there was a free welcome drink in the evenings.

I thought I’d be in a capsule, but it turned out to be a cabin. At check‑in I received a welcome drink and free morning drinks, which was nice, and I could use the pot for boiling water at will. The amenities were plentiful, and the semi‑open‑air bath in the larger pool area was very comfortable. The cabin, however, essentially lacks individual climate control.
