It’s located on the outskirts of Troskyiv, which is very quiet and peaceful, but you have to walk 20 minutes uphill to the nearest restaurant. The pool is a plus, but it heats up very slowly; at +25 it’s relatively comfortable to swim. In reality it’s not as big as the photos suggest. The kiddie pool is fine. The staff works at a high level and the food is good. There’s a bar on site, but it’s just a place to pour a pint of beer. The “kids’ playground” feels like it was added just to claim it exists. There’s a lack of extra services. There’s a gym (I didn’t use it), a grill, and everything else. I didn’t want to go out in the rain, but there’s nowhere to go on the property in such conditions.

The location is great, and the pension is very good.

We stayed in the new building, where the rooms have modern decor and look decent. Large windows and a small French‑style balcony make the room bright. The food is tasty and filling, and they’re willing to accommodate requests; in our case they swapped out a lactose‑intolerant menu for delicious pastries. The grounds are large and green, with swings and benches for relaxing. There are also small playgrounds, a football area, and two pools: a small heated kiddie pool and a larger one that’s cooler but still heated. The staff are polite. They take out the trash and change the toilet paper daily. It’s a decent pension for a family holiday, and you can rent a grill. However, the website’s information is misleading: it listed tours, bike or quad rides, overseas trips, a sauna, salt baths, and massages, but none of that exists. When we asked the administrator about tours, we were sent to the city center to find them ourselves. No sauna, no massages, no tours. They didn’t ask about the gym. For the price you basically get a roof over your head and breakfast; everything else is extra and you have to find it yourself. Also, the access to the pension is inadequate. If you’re planning to move around on foot with luggage, be prepared to haul it over a rough dirt road with potholes. Service and maintenance are not up to par. The administrator is there, but not always on site, which complicates resolving issues that arise during your stay. On the third day after check‑in, we asked for fresh towels, and they assured us they would replace them the next day. We waited at lunch, but no one came. We returned late from a tour (around 21:00) and discovered that they hadn’t just failed to replace the towels; the room was not cleaned at all: trash wasn’t taken out (and if you’re in a deluxe with two beds, there’s a small trash can in the bathroom), the toilet paper wasn’t refilled (it had been missing for two days). Also, cleaning (or lack thereof) depends on the staff’s personal preferences at the time. Today they’re doing their job, but tomorrow they might be too lazy to clean your room. I recommend reviewing your trip goals, considering the feedback and comments at your chosen locations, and picking a place that matches your needs.

The team is wonderful, all very friendly. The grounds are nice and there’s an outdoor pool. Not all rooms have air conditioning. The cleaning staff need to pay more attention to the shower cabins; there’s room for improvement.
