The hotel is in a small village and has no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up. The kitchen is good, the food was delicious, and the beer was also nice. We had a small, somewhat awkward room with two single beds.

The hotel sits in a great spot, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was very comfortable.

The hotel was very cozy and the host was wonderful. I gave only a few points for comfort, which I’ll explain: it was around 38 °C when we arrived and our room had no air‑conditioning. Otherwise everything was perfect, except for the lack of air‑conditioning, but the terrace and the food were excellent.

All was great, we were able to park right outside the door, the room was clean and perfect for our needs during a 1 night stay. The restaurant was bustling and the food was lovely. After dinner we had a short walk around the town, but since it was already dark didn't have time to explore the castle. We would definitely stay here again during our next road trip. The breakfast was good for the price, but since there is a butchers shop onsite, I was expecting more cooked food. It was entirely cold apart from boiled eggs. I wouldn't have minded paying a little more to try some sausages or bacon from the butchers for example
