The room was larger than we expected in France, and it came with a NESPESSO coffee maker and capsules. The water pressure made showering very comfortable. Parking in the hotel courtyard cost extra, and the breakfast lacked vegetables and felt cramped.

This boutique hotel is nice, rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome. The rooms are clean and large enough. Plenty of parking in the courtyard and a great big garden. It’s well‑located; the castle and the city center with many restaurants and shops are only a 5‑10 minute walk. Breakfast is good and reasonably priced. The only downside I see is that there is no lift, but that’s understandable given the age of the building – it’s just a bit of high‑level whining.

“Amazing stay, felt like retreat within the city.”

Check‑in was lightning fast, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The gated entrance with a code made us feel safe, and the garden behind the building was spacious. Street parking nearby was plentiful, and there were also many paid parking spots on site. The room was spotless and the bed was very cozy. We didn’t use the spa, but walking through the garden at night was soothing and peaceful. We stayed on the top floor, so because the roof is slanted the edges of the room (near the window and desk) are a bit lower; it wasn’t a problem for us, but taller guests might notice.
