“Rozczarowanie”
The owner was friendly, pleasant, and welcoming.
The hotel does not deserve four stars; we usually stay at three‑star hotels that have a higher standard. The double rooms definitely do not have the advertised 25 m²— we were told they were 12‑14 m² max, but they were very cramped, making it hard to get in, sleep, and leave at night. The bathrooms were tiny; it felt like a train sleeping car, difficult to turn around, and tall people struggled with the toilet— they had to sit, bend over the wall, and the light above the mirror was dim because the water boiler, though hanging from the ceiling, blocked the lamp. The bathrooms were miniature and not fully clean. We rented three double rooms, each cramped. The furniture was fine, the beds had survived many years but were still comfortable. When we moved them away from the air‑conditioner, which was installed above the bed and I feared it would blow us off, dust bunnies, old items, and some ointment left by previous guests appeared under the beds. Each room did have disposable slippers, a toothbrush, soap, and toothpaste. However, the room description mentioned a coffee maker and a fridge, which were not there— only a fridge at the bottom of the reception. The free parking was behind the houses on the main street, but the owner assured us it was safe. The view from the windows showed ruins on the courtyard next to the building under construction. Breakfast was served at the bottom near the reception, modest but appreciated by the owner for his effort. We’ve traveled a lot, never stayed at exclusive hotels, but never at such a small pension or villa; we wouldn’t call this place a hotel, especially not at that price. For one night for five people we paid 160 Euro, which I think is too high for these conditions.
