“It was a great choice with a good room.”
The location was great, the hosts were very helpful. The balcony room was very nice with a huge shower. The ancient elevator was a real challenge.

Excellent location. Near the Duomo, but relatively quiet. Very friendly, accommodating staff. Larger elevator. Hah, not possible in this building

When we arrived, we discovered the lift is tiny, fitting only one person and two bags at a time, so more than one person would need multiple trips. There are stairs, but they’re four flights to the second floor. Francesca and Federico greeted us with a warm handshake and were always helpful. The Eleanora room was lovely, but privacy was an issue—the room is overlooked, so we had to keep curtains closed all the time; a window veil would make it perfect. The room had a safe, a fridge with shower gel, and tea and coffee. Breakfast had to be ordered before 4 pm on a sheet you photograph and WhatsApp Francesca. It’s continental—bread, cheese, ham, fruit, nuts, seeds, yoghurt, etc. The location is a 10‑minute walk from most major attractions. We would definitely recommend it. Rating: Location 10, Service 9, Room 10, Breakfast 7, Hotel amenities 0 (none). It’s a little gem of a bed and breakfast. Hotels in the area are pricey, so overall value for a 3‑day stay was very good. The only downside: adding boiled eggs to breakfast and improving English TV channels would help.

The location is fine. There’s no Wi‑Fi as promised, no breakfast included, and the elevator only fits one person, so you have to haul luggage up several stairs. The staff argue with you, and the beds are uncomfortable.
