“Big, Quiet, and Comfortable”
The place was super comfy and pretty. The room and bathroom were huge, heating was spot on, and the breakfast was plenty. The attached restaurant was great and the staff were top‑notch. The only downside? The hotel was huge and, since it was the end of the season, it was almost empty, so we basically had the whole thing to ourselves.
“Great Staff, Basic Room”
The staff were amazing, which really saved the trip. I was confused because I thought I’d booked Pampa Lodge, but the room was just a basic hostel room and the breakfast was okay—eggs were decent. The only thing that should be clearer is that they’re booking you into a hostel, not a lodge.
“Great View, High Price”
The spot is perfect, right in front of the park entrance, and the staff are super friendly. If you head out for a walk before breakfast, you can grab a to‑go breakfast pack, and the view of the horses and mountains is gorgeous. It’s a bit pricey for a four‑bedroom room, but the park’s rates are generally high.
“Clean Stay, but No Door Lock”
Room was spotless, views were nice, breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. The nearby restaurant was convenient and the horseback riding was a highlight. The only hiccup was that we couldn't lock the door because we didn't get a key and there was no lock point, but nothing went missing.
“Nice Views, Poor Facilities”
The location is great and the lobby bar has beautiful views. The road to the hotels is in terrible shape and the room lacks basic stuff like glasses, a kettle, coat hangers, or a safe. With all that missing, the price feels way too high.
