The property is huge, with wild predatory birds living right across the lake. Inside, there’s a toilet, shower, and sauna. Three bedrooms are on the second floor and a living room on the first. All the cookware, a small stove, kettle, and fridge are provided, but there’s no freezer, and we needed ice. The large, comfortable balcony overlooks the lake. We swam at the neighboring lake, dove from the pier, and lounged on the beach chairs. Kids near the house caught fish in the lake. The hosts were very nice, always available and ready to help. Eight of us stayed, and there was enough space for everyone; we really enjoyed it and will come back. The furniture is a bit old, but that didn’t bother us. The tap water has a smell, so bring bottled water; if you forget, a nearby shop sells everything. The bedding, pillows, and blankets cost extra. Because the house sits on the forest edge, there’s a lot of spider webs everywhere.

The sauna was good and the house was warm. The family was cheerful and helpful, but the property had a lot of bird droppings.
