The location is beautiful and the surroundings are peaceful. The hosts were outstanding and made our stay comfortable; for my son’s birthday they happily decorated the room, making it extra memorable. There’s nothing to complain about.

Places like this are rare; this spot was an oasis of calm with a beautiful garden, the tent was spotless and went beyond what I expected. The bed was very comfortable and I didn’t feel cold at night in February thanks to the duvet, and there was also a heater if needed. The bathroom was lovely and even had a full‑length mirror, more than most places I’ve stayed at! The owner was kind and hospitable, and I was touched when he brewed coffee for me before my safari on the second morning. The bill had to be paid in cash, which I wasn’t prepared for, so it’s worth arranging that ahead of time. The only downside was the portion sizes for meals – the food was excellent, but for one person I’d have preferred a thali rather than the amount that came out (way too much for one!).

Corbet Nature Retreat is an amazing place, really peaceful with the Khichdi river flowing next to it. The host, Mr. Bipin, and his staff, especially Ajay Bhai, were fantastic, made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great, and our kids loved it too - we had a really great time.
