The view was great, but around the cabin the place was disorganized and the additional services were not what was advertised.

The cabin’s location lets you wake up to the reservoir while hearing the birds chirping and roosters crowing; it’s a calm, fresh‑air spot with peaceful silence to rest. It’s a 5‑minute walk to Guatavita Park via a safe but uncovered path. The cabin is spacious, and being wooden it doesn’t get too cold; the bed is comfortable with enough blankets for the early‑morning chill. The hosts were friendly and gave directions, though it wasn’t hard to find. However, the pillows were small and uncomfortable, the two cushions were extremely tiny, the towels needed a deep wash as did the blankets that don’t seem to be cleaned after each guest. A kettle or water boiler would be useful given Guatavita’s natural chill, and a cup or mug would also help.

The view was spectacular. The place was clean and comfortable, with enough blankets for the cold nights, and the staff in charge were very friendly.

It was close to the town and had a good view, but there was no television, which is a problem because there isn’t much to do at night and you get bored without a TV.

It’s a perfect spot to escape city noise and hustle, ideal for relaxing with a great view of the reservoir. Everything else was great, except the bathroom door made a loud noise every time it opened and closed.
