Because I was running late, I called the manager and she was very friendly, left the key for me, had everything ready, and the room was exactly what I wanted—clean, functional, and perfectly suited to my needs. Bottom line: a charming old house run by its owner with great dedication and reasonable prices.

The pension is in a quiet residential area. A larger bakery is within walking distance for good evening and morning meals. Nearby are lovely forest paths and peaceful spots overlooking the Zittau Mountains. Everything was fine.

In a beautiful old house, the cozy holiday flat felt very charming and rustic; however, sleeping in 100‑year‑old beds was very cozy but they creaked loudly when moved.
