The place sits right among apricot trees with the soothing sound of water from the many irrigation canals nearby. Dinner was a brilliant Turtuk Dahl. The staff were excellent and friendly, and Tarik’s son helped me lug my luggage up. However, if you arrive at night it’s hard to spot the hotel; you have to park off the property and walk up after crossing the river.

We had a wonderful stay in Turtuk! The location is perfect, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. A special highlight was when the chef, who is the owner's brother, took us up to the rooftop to pick fresh apricots straight from the trees—such a memorable experience!. There was a minor issue with the water flow in one of the rooms, but the hospitality and location made up for it

This homestay gave us a unique chance to immerse ourselves in Turtuk’s rich culture. The host, Karim, was welcoming and even shared stories about the history of the Balti people.
