Situated in Murnau’s centre near the cultural centre, museum, Müntherhaus, brewery and pedestrian zone, it offers a breakfast buffet, free parking, garage, and is a 5‑minute walk from the train station; Lake Staffelsee is five minutes’ drive away.

The house at Gries is part of the "Griesbräu" and is very centrally located, so we could easily walk to sights like the Münter-Haus or the castle museum. The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and well furnished, as is the bathroom. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room was on the 1st floor without an elevator, which was not a problem for us.

Central location, short walks to the town center. Very good breakfast at Urige Brauerei-Gastwirtschaft. The guest card does not include a free mountain railway.
