“Okay sttay, at the lake.”

The location was great, and if you get the lakeside room you can actually see the lake from the pool area—nice views! The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. However, when I walked in the room felt pretty stodgy and warm; it would have been better to enter a cool, crisp space instead of a sauna-like feel. There were also patched holes above the bed where a picture should have been, which looked a bit trashy to me. Another issue was the crosstalk during check‑in: the staff were talking to each other instead of engaging with us, which felt extremely unprofessional, especially since I work in hospitality. Finally, the breakfast was the usual generic hotel fare; I have a sensitive gut and am a pescatarian, so I would have preferred some fruit on the bar or a whole‑food option. Processed proteins and carbs should be a thing of the past in hotels, if you ask me.

“It took me 45 minutes to check in and I was there only customer”

The room was near a lake, but the lake view was limited—only a sliver of water visible if you looked closely past the trees and buildings.

The venue isn’t far from Athens, and the area around it is quiet and beautiful.
