The whole place feels magical and the staff are super helpful and nice. The road leading to the property is small and unpaved; if it were fixed, everything would be perfect.

The green surroundings, seaside location, spacious villa, beautiful pool with jacuzzi. Access was difficult—the road was impractical for tuk‑tuks and tricycles, so we had to walk about 10 minutes to the main highway to catch a tricycle when we wanted to leave. The hotel did nothing to help us find transport. The nearest restaurants were 25 minutes on foot. One evening, unable to find a tricycle, we had to walk back. On the first day, the young man who received us spoke little English. Breakfast options were very limited—just coffee, tea, or juice. No hot water in the shower. The bathroom was outdated. The mattress sheet was too small. The air conditioner was noisy and woke us up at night.

We stayed at Solaj Dive & Beach Resort and the experience did not match what was advertised at the time of booking. The room we received was not in line with the photos or description shown online. Cleanliness and maintenance were below expected standards, especially in the bathroom and overall condition of the accommodation. Several advertised facilities and services were either not available or did not reflect what was communicated before or during the stay. When we raised these issues, communication with management did not lead to a workable solution. As a result, we checked out earlier than planned and moved to another accommodation. We would advise future guests to verify expectations carefully before booking, as the actual experience differed significantly from the listing.

I booked through a platform, and it helped! When we arrived, the staff were accommodating and helped half of us move to another room because the air conditioner on the villa’s second floor was busted. They also gave us an extra bed in the new room. We had pizzas poolside in the afternoon, which were big (and delicious) for the price! The breakfast was good too. The ambiance was really nice for spending some quiet time with family and loved ones! <3 The only sad part is the road from the highway to the resort entrance, since it is narrow and bumpy; maybe that will be resolved soon.
