“Perfect location for a short stay in Matera. We highly recommend Il Nespolo”
We really enjoyed our stay at Il Nespolo. Michele and his wife welcomed us warmly, made us feel at home right away, and even offered a coffee upon arrival. They shared loads of information about Matera, from beautiful churches to scenic views and restaurant tips. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The location and service were great. The only downside was not having a window with ventilation.
The location was very convenient for visiting the Sassi. Mr. Michele was extremely kind and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect in every way, letting us loop around the city and see everything we wanted, which made it one of the best parts of our visit. The room was very clean and had everything we needed, and the bed was truly comfortable after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Having parking available was a huge plus. The gentleman who helped us was incredibly sweet and helpful, taking the time to explain everything about the property and give us great directions and recommendations, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place in an amazing location. We loved it!
The owner of the accommodation was very friendly and gave us a lot of useful information about the sights. The parking spot was a big plus. The room was cleaned daily. The lodging was just a few minutes' walk to the old town, restaurants, and shops.
