Fantastic location. No one sent us the key safe code, so we spent 30 minutes trying to get in touch with someone. Eventually Kim kindly drove over to let us in. Not the best start to our break 😕

Spacious and quiet

The location, extras such as condiments, cleaning products, toiletries, a good layout and size meant we weren’t on top of each other, and two toilets are handy with three children. The owners’ communication was excellent and included tips on local places to eat and days out. Lack of a hot tub, and a deep clean before we arrived would have helped; I found a previous guest’s underwear under the bed and several cobwebs—understandable given the location.

Well-equipped lodge in a quiet setting on the edge of Exmoor National Park. Good and fast contact with the owners, and a small problem was quickly resolved. Nothing else.

“Ruim boshuisje op rustige plek”

Nice place. Spacious accommodation. Everything you need is present. Quiet. The entrance/veranda outside, plus the seating, are unfortunately not clean and a bit untidy. Inside everything is fairly clean, but the switches and trash cans in the kitchen were quite dirty/greasy, and the remote control was the same. Easy to fix ;) It’s very dark on the property at night.
