I booked the whole guesthouse for friends and family for a weekend in Robertson. Dini is a fantastic host and the breakfast is delicious. The house is in town, so walking around Robertson is easy. The rooms are well appointed, and the living and dining areas have old‑world charm. There’s an outdoor braai area and a splash pool, plus plenty of secure parking. If I have to nitpick, the water in the room could be better.

The welcome was excellent and the room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very cold when we arrived—winter, after all! But the room’s air conditioning helped ease the chill in the bathroom a bit.

The owner was incredible, and breakfast was fantastic—people were friendly, the art and dining room were lovely, and the coffee was great. However, the room didn’t match the photos; the TV was tiny and oddly placed near the roof, Wi‑Fi was weak, floors felt sticky, only one ply of toilet paper was provided, walls were thin so we heard everything in the adjacent dining room, and the toilet was so close to the basin that a larger person like me couldn’t sit without bumping knees against the cupboard.
