The fireplaces, deck, and view were great, but the kitchen lacked enough utensils and cutlery—only four wine glasses were available, and there was no Wi‑Fi.

The location is beautiful, the house is comfortable, and it’s peaceful away from everything, but when we returned after four years the grass and reeds had overtaken the front of the house, ruining the view we had seen in the pictures; it’s still lovely, just not the same.

The location is excellent and the house is comfortable, though the dam is overgrown with weeds.

“We will definitely return!”

The accommodation was excellent, the location superb, and the view spectacular—everything we wanted; the cleaning lady was very friendly. However, the entrances—both the main gate and the house entrance—were too narrow, making it stressful to maneuver our Land Cruiser each time we went to town or back; parking for two cars was okay but not for larger vehicles. The bathrooms need some maintenance, the bedding could use a refresh, and an area to hang towels for drying would be great. The dustbins should be emptied more often.
