Located ten minutes’ walk from Orléans’ historic centre and twenty minutes from the train station, this 24‑room youth hostel offers single, double, triple, family (up to six) and dormitory rooms, each with a private bathroom and two PMR‑adapted rooms.

I was greeted by a friendly waitress at breakfast, but when I asked for a private room, the staff told me I had to stay in a dormitory. I had to request an individual room and pay an extra 13€, and the information I received was incorrect.

The location is convenient, but the plastic bed covers and flooring give the place an institutional feel.

The accommodation is simple, clean, and the staff are friendly; the value for money is great, the bed is comfortable, and it’s easy to get to from the train station. Breakfast is straightforward and tasty, and the neighbourhood is quiet. However, the shower is cramped to get in and out, the connecting door lets all sound through, and the room gets afternoon sun with no exterior blinds.
