The location tops everything else. The staff are friendly, speaking basic English, but that was fine thanks to translation apps.

The hotel in Samarkand was pretty nice, especially because it sits right next to the Bibi‑Khanym Mosque, making it easy to move around. I think a couple runs the place, and it was the wife who greeted us; she was very welcoming and the check‑in went smoothly. I appreciated the laundry service, which is handy when traveling. The overall vibe was comfortable and a good spot to stay. The room itself was simple and a bit small, but adequate. Overall, a solid experience. The main drawbacks were parking and power. Getting in and out by car is a hassle, particularly if you rely on Yandex; the property is tucked into a narrow alley with cars parked along the way, so drivers often struggle to turn in or reach the building. The second issue was unreliable electricity: we had an outage that lasted over an hour, leaving us without lights or a shower, which was frustrating and spoiled the stay.

Excellent location, the host was very welcoming, and the laundry service was cheap. The breakfast was disappointing, just a slice of bread with stale butter, and the bathroom equipment felt a bit worn.

The location is quite good. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were very attentive, quickly handling requests. The room is simple, but for the price it’s sufficient. It’s a budget‑friendly option that doesn’t force you to compromise. I may have overlooked that the shower and toilet are shared, which I wasn’t mentally prepared for, but given the cost it’s reasonable. I’d stay here again if I visit Samarkand. There were no negatives.

Great spot near the bazaar and city centre, the owners were friendly and helpful, and the room had a very small bathroom but was still comfortable.
