The hosts are warm and calm, close to roads and the beach, with a big kitchen full of appliances (but they took the sugar and coffee for themselves) and no extra questions. When there were issues with neighbors, they offered a good solution right away. They own a nearby shop where you can buy vegan gluten‑free products: soy meat, fufu, mung beans, vegetables, and fried beans in the adjacent shop. The room is small but the bed is good, there’s a mat to sit and for yoga, which is important to me. The courtyard is nice, no one was there in the off‑season, and on weekends children played, creating a very family‑friendly atmosphere—my first stay in Issyk‑Kul was very enjoyable. It was a bit chilly; they gave a small heater, but I still slept in my clothes, which is fine for the off‑season. The shower water wasn’t great, but overall the shower was decent. There were neighbors upstairs who made noise all night, and the wall sound transmission was quite high. The price was a bit steep and the money was taken in advance.
