The breakfast was excellent, though a bit expensive; overall, it was a wonderful stay, and the most impressive part was the staff, who were absolutely amazing—helpful at all times, always pleasant, and a pleasure to converse with. The room was great too.

The building feels freshly renovated, with modern interiors, having opened less than two years ago. Its spot is just outside the old city walls, a 5‑10 minute walk into Beaune’s city centre. A small garden with a seating area under trees and a trendy underground wine bar/vault adds charm. Breakfast was nice and the staff were friendly. The hotel offers 3‑4 carpark spaces inside the enclosure. On the downside, there’s no fridge in the room. The place looks clean at first glance, but a second look shows it’s not that spotless: a white pillow fell on the floor, and a short walk across the floor in light‑colored socks revealed it wasn’t fully clean (they seem to vacuum, but no mopping was seen in the rooms during our stay). The three of us ordered a glass of wine in the garden from the wine bar, and all three glasses had dirty rims. Wi‑Fi failed for a while one day, and when we returned in the evening, the front door’s electronic key system switched to green but didn’t unlock the door. No major problems overall, but given the price, these stood out.
