Located opposite Strasbourg train station, Le Grand Hotel is a 10-minute walk from the city centre and Place Kléber. This hotel features a bar, terrace, and free Wi-Fi access. Modern rooms have en suite facilities, flat-screen satellite TVs, telephones, and free Wi-Fi. A buffet breakfast is served daily, and room service is available 24/7. The hotel is 15 km from the airport and 8 km from Germany's borders.

The hotel sits right across from the train station and is a short walk to Petite France and the Old Town, making it very convenient; the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable with a great bed and pillows, and breakfast added a nice touch, so overall a pleasant stay in a great location, though there was no fridge.

The facilities and breakfast were good, but the room lacked a minibar and the power outlets were poorly placed.

Overall, the hotel is very good in terms of facilities, breakfast was correct, and the location meant you could walk to almost anywhere in the city and the buses were very close; the hotel doesn’t have a garage but offered one nearby with a discount, but that discount was practically impossible to get because it didn’t apply on weekends or if you weren’t parked for more than 24 hours; we stayed 8 days and never received the discount.

The stay was affordable, the location was good, the bed was extremely comfortable, the shower had good pressure and temperature, and the staff were attentive; however, the bath towels were too small, the sheet should have been stretched more when making the bed, and breakfast lacked bacon and grated tomato.
