“Awful, only stayed the night as I arrived very late at night”

The place looked abandoned: the door wouldn’t shut, the lock was useless, the bed cover was dirty, the mosquito net was full of dead insects, mouse droppings were on the table, and there were huge pots of stagnant water around breeding mosquitoes. The lady in charge spoke no English, so I had to use Google Translate to get anything done. I felt sorry for her, she seems to be just a caretaker with no owners in sight. No idea why this is listed. Everything was awful.

“Disappointing”

The staff were kind and dedicated, but they didn’t know we had a prepaid booking, the room was extremely dirty, insects were everywhere, and the only excuse was that the owner was in Germany. I’d been there in 2016 and liked it, but this time it was a disaster. I hope they sort things out.

“Derelict”

I stayed in October 2023 and found the place derelict; it shouldn’t even be advertised. Locally they said no guests have come since Covid. The property was dirty, littered, the bathroom tap was rusty, and none of the advertised facilities worked. A fallen tree was on the roof and large standing pots of water created a mosquito‑infested environment. I emailed the owner, who ignored me, and the whole structure seemed dangerous and run down. I complained to the manager, who also didn’t reply. I arrived in the dark, slept one night, and then left.
